  1. Hi. My mom’s employer in Jeddah sent money to my BDO account. But it’s been 3 days and still, it’s not reflecting on my account. He said that it was transferred thru National Commercial bank. He gave me a reference number. Is there a way to check online or in the BDO branch to see if there’s any fund transfer from Jeddah to my account?

  2. Hi mam sir good morning

  3. Hello good pm. Pwede po ba paki clarify. My basic pay is 13k. Does it mean na ang monthly salary credit ko ay 13k din right? tapos il divide it sa 6 so that would make 90K. Then divide ko sia sa 180 that would make it 433.33 multiply ko po sia sa 90% equals 390. 390 plus the approved number of days ng doctor ko is 21. that would make it 8190.

  4. Hi joven, saan ba pinadala yong pera? Sa account mo? or sa iyo for Cash Pickup? Kasi kung sa account pinadala, dapat make-credit sa account mo, at iwidro mo ang pera through atm, or over the counter. Kung cash pickup naman, present your IDs and reference number to claim your remittance. Ano raw ang reason bakit pending? Super laking amount ng pera ba? Or merong mali sa account name? Kapag merong mali sa name or account no., tell your sender to go back to the remittance company and make the correction.

  6. Hello po. tanong ko lang po kung ano ang problema 1st po time kasi magpadala ng kapatid ko from Saudi bali pinadalhan nya ng pera yong BDO account nya dito sa Pinas pero it’s been 5 days na po pero wala pa sa BDO account nya :'(

Lahat naman yan maa-activate for remittance.
    Jose Aryiel G. Castor
    Tahweel al Rajhi
    Manila Plaza Bldg.
    Al Batha, Riyadh, KSA
    Mobile No.: +966546782586
    Email: jgcastor@mail.landbank.com

  8. Good day, Paln ko po mag open ng savings account dito sa Saudi.

You will return to claim your passbook and atm card maybe after one month. Hindi mo pa magagamit yong atm card diyan sa Saudi, kasi you need to activate it first at a BDO machine in the Philippines.
If you’re asking about credit card, dito nag-a-apply ng credit card. Should be in person. You can apply for a SECURED credit card at BPI.

  10. Hi yham, yes, merong charge kung mag-balance inquiry ka using your atm card. Dapat merong Mastercard o Visa logo yong card mo at dapat na-change PIN mo yan in the Philippines noon. Ang charge is 1 US dollar, maybe 51 to 53 pesos

  11. Good evening po sa inyo ma’am /sir. Tanong ko lng po kong mi bayad ba pag nag inquire balance my kabayan passbook atm savings bdo.

  15. Hi josephine, pumunta ka lang dito sa alinman dito and ask them if they’re offering assistance in BDO Kabayan account opening: BDO remittance partners in Saudi Arabia. Makukuha mo ang passbook and atm card mo maybe after a month, but you cannot use yet your atm card there in KSA — you need to activate it in the Philippines

  16. Hi miss nora good evening po,ask lng ako if saan pwding mg open account ng BDO dito sa riyadh gusto q sana mg open account for saving..thank u po plz reply…

  17. Hi Kaye, Enjaz is owned by Bank Al Bilad. If you’re outside of Riyadh, tanungin mo na lang yang Enjaz diyan kung puedeng send to BDO Philippines.

  18. Hi jebe, pag meron ka nang iqama, you can apply at Al Rajhi Bank or Bank Al Bilad or Alinma Bank. Tanungin mo lang kung nag-o-offer sila ang assistance in opening a BDO Kabayan account. Merong charge kasi they’ll send it to BDO Philippines for approval. If approved, you’ll get your passbook and atm card after a month. You can then send money to your account, but you cannot yet use your atm card in KSA; you need to activate your atm card first at a BDO machine here in the Phils.

  20. Hi Yvonne, yong iqama mo, yong perang padala mo, account name at account number ng BDO account na papadalhan mo. Usually, pag first time, pinagfi-fill up ka muna ng form. Make sure also na active yong Kabayan account na papadalhan mo. Tanungin mo sa remitter how much you will pay in riyals if halimbawa gusto mong magpadala ng 10k pesos, para ma-compute mo kung ano ang rate na gamit nila.

Bring a recent receipt of your remittance from your mother, so you can apply for a BDO Kabayan savings account. This has no maintaining balance requirement basta papadalhan ng mother mo from abroad (at least once every 12 months). If you like the regular ATM savings account (no remittance receipt required), ang maintaining balance is 2k pesos. Lagyan mo ng 2k, and then huwag mo siyang wiwidrohin para hindi magka-penalty. Bring 2 valid IDs and 2 ID pictures.

  24. Hi po Ms. Nora ask ko lang po kc mg papadla po ung nanay ko ng pera from saudi. ask ko lang po kung ano po ung best way na gagawin ko pra ma receive ung padala nya through bdo. so ano po kelangan kong gawin. do i need to open an account sa BDO. then bigay ko po sa kanya ung account no. pra doon nya ipadala?? plss help me po. tnx.

  27. Hi joel, when you send money, just write the name of your beneficiary or recipient, phone number and address. Do not write any bank account number. Choose “For Cash Pickup”. Bibigyan ka ng remittance reference number or transaction number. Yong kukuha naman ng padala mo, magdala siya ng IDs niya at yong reference number and amount of money expected. Kung BDO remittance partner ka magpadala, kukunin dapat sa any BDO branch or any BDO partner dito sa Philippines like SM Business Center.

  29. Hi Sheila, I’ve been informed that BDO has stopped offering Kabayan account opening through their partners abroad. Ibig sabihin wala nang opening of Kabayan account abroad. Most likely, dahil ito sa money laundering scandal that involved RCBC. Naging strict na ang Central Bank at the Anti-money Laundering Council. Pero you can still try asking.

  30. How much po bdo kabayan savings open account here in dammam branch,in riyals.is it available here this bdo kabayan savings account? Thanks..

  32. Hi Marlon, sorry there’s no BDO representative there that can check your account status. If it was not used for more than a year, it’s most likely closed. If you like, you can ask someone in the Phils to deposit 100 pesos to your account — if it’s accepted then your account is still active. If your account is still active, maintain at least 10k in your account because it’s possible your account has been converted into a regular account that requires a maintaining balance. You can also call BDO 800-863-0011 (toll-free if you call from a landline)

  33. Hi Miss Nora, just want to know if we have contact person in riyadh for BDO so we can inquire/verify regarding our account if still valid. i think its more than a year since the last time used my BDO kabayan atm and i want to know if its still valid. thank you in advance.

  34. Hi my husband lives in al salamah jeddah ksa where does bdo remittance partner near to his place? thank you

  35. Hi John rey, sorry you cannot activate through atm there because there is no BDO atm there. Wait for your enrollment to get cancelled and reset, maybe in 2 weeks or more (depending on how many days were given to you for atm activation), then enroll again. This time, choose “Outside the Philippines”. After your application, BDO will call you after a few days and verify information that you have written in your application. Then wait for your activation email.

  36. Hi ms Nora San q po b pede ipa activate ung bdo acct ATM q for online banking nkapag enroll n po aq online eh need p po plang iactivate s ATM machine kaka enroll q lng po online kahapon nag txt and email po skin ang bdo ng verification code n itatype q dw po s ATM machine pra mai activate for online banking eh andito n po aq s hafar al batin Saudi Arabia anu pu bang ATM machine ang pede q po gmitin para po maactivate q ung bdo acct q for online banking?? Tnx in advance po

  37. Hello Ms. Nora,

The next day po, nag online po ako to check my balance inquiry kung nakapasok ba ung dineposit kong amount. Balak kong pumunta sa Enjaz mamaya after work para mag tanong.

    Salamat,
    Marlon

  38. Hi Frankie, go to Al Zamil Exchange and ask if they’re offering assistance in opening a BDO Kabayan account. Bring your iqama and other IDs. If they do, you will fill up forms, they will forward these to BDO, and you will return after maybe a month to get your passbook and atm card. You will activate your atm card at a BDO atm in the Philippines

  39. Hi Rhoahella, in the BDO list, there’s no BDO remittance partner in Abha. But you can try asking Bank Al Bilad (Enjaz Remittance) there in Abha if they’re accepting remittances to BDO, and if they’re offering assistance for BDO Kabayan account opening.

  40. Im rhoshella… Do you have a BDO branch her in abha? How can i seNd moNey to the phillipines using BDO? And how can i open an account?

  41. Hi. I’m about to receive my Iqama sometime early next week and will be required to open a bank account here in Al Khobar, KSA. Company shall channel my salary through that bank account directly.

‘Would appreciate if you can advise which local (KSA) bank/s can I open my account with, preferably in proximity of Rahmania Area (Office is near Corniche on that same area)AND,the one that caters electronic banking services (so I wont need to drop by the bank, personally)

Would appreciate further if you can advise if I can send/transfer this funding to an existing BDO Acct back home under a different name (my Father’s).

  43. Hi alyssa, there’s no Buraidah in BDO’s list, but since Bank Al-Bilad (Enjaz Remittance) and Al-Rajhi are remittance partners of BDO i Riyadh, Jeddah, etc., ask them if they’re remittance partners of BDO and if they’re offering assistance in opening BDO Kabayan account.

  44. hello po I’m here in buraydah. In which bank here can I open an account for my savings? Thanks po

  45. What I mean is how long does online banking will remit the amount I transfer from alrajhi acct to bdo account. Thanks.

  46. Hi, how long will it take to transfer internet online banking from alrajhi account to my bdo account?

  47. Hi Eloisa, in BDO’s list, I don’t see a BDO remittance partner in Unaizah, but ask the Al Rajhi Bank in Unaizah if you can send money to BDO in the Philippines. Al Rajhi banks in Jeddah and Riyadh are BDO partners.

  48. how about in riyadh madaam?? except batha.. another location where i can open a new account? and requirements?

  49. Hi Melchor, try Bank Al-Bilad or Alamoudi Exchange. I wonder why Al Rajhi there does not offer Kabayan account opening.

  50. Hi po where can we open a BDO account here in Jeddah. We went to al rajhi queens building but there’s no BDO representative there. thanks po

  51. Hi Maricar, you are not allowed to reactivate your closed account, but you can open a new account there in Dammam at a BDO remittance partner accredited to offer account opening. Your account will become active within days, but your passbook and atm card will be given to you in about a month, and you can activate your atm card only at a BDO atm in the Philippines.

  52. hi po, i have kabayan account opened before i left the philippines, but i didnt use it so i think it already expired. I need an account now. so do i need to open again or renew the old one, im here po at dammam. thanks in advance

  53. Hi.can anyone advice me where exact location can i open bdo account here in Jeddah as bdo phils dont allow us to open through our family representative there as they want us in personal that’s why i’m gonna do it here in jeddah..thanks in advance

  54. Hi shin, yes, present your passbook to the teller and request for update. If the remittance is credited, then fill up the withdrawal slip and withdraw.

  55. Hello good day. Is it possible to get the remittance even if I don’t have yet the atm? But I have my passbook. It was opened just today. thanks po. god bless

  56. Hi ms nora, do you know where is the nearest bdo kabayan savings branch near taif saudi? Thanks

  57. Hi robert, Bank Al Bilad and Al Rajhi Banking. See the list above. Can be cheaper, but not always all the time (there could be other remittance firms offering cheaper rates), but the remittance will be safer and faster if you’re remitting to BDO for cash pickup or deposit. For deposit to a BDO account, there’s another remittance charge deducted from your BDO account here.

  58. Hi ana, sorry I’m not sure, but it should be credited the next day. However, there are remittances that can take 2 to 3 days.

  59. What banks are BDO partners here in saudi? Is the remittance fee cheaper if BDO partner? Thanks

  60. Hi robert, remittance fee for saudi to Philippines range from 15 to 30 riyals, depending on the remittance company. BDO might charge around 200 pesos or more, depending on the amount. Your family should withdraw at a BDO atm to avoid an atm charge.

  61. Hi, Ms. Nora. How many days for my remittance from KSA to get credited to my BDO savings account thru Arab National Bank? Thank you!

  62. If I remit from saudi to peso kabayan, how much are the charges, and if they withdraw in the Philippines using my atm, how much are the charges. tnx

  63. Hi rey, the charge is only 3.50 US dollars. Have you maintained your account? Below-maintaining-balance penalty is 300 pesos per month, so if you have not maintained your account, 300 pesos have been deducted from your account from month to month. Ask your inquiry here: https://www.bdo.com.ph/contact-us

  64. Hi ms. Good day. How much is the charge for atm withdrawal from my bdo account? All my money was gone after I withdrew here. thanks

  65. Hi..i am currently here in Rabigh and interested to open a BDO savings account here..where is the nearest place/bank to open this account and what are the requirements..thanks

  71. Hi Gian, there are a lot of Yanbus in the KSA map, so I don’t know which one is your location. Try looking for Al Rajhi Banking or Bank Al Bilad.

  72. Good day po! Where here in Yanbu can I open a Bank Account in BDO. feel free to contact me for any information 0543811362

  73. Hi Nerissa, ask any of the banks listed above if you can open a Kabayan account with them. They’ll forward your papers to BDO in the Philippines.

  74. good day po!!I’m planning to open a philippine savings account po!where can I open po here in jeddah po?

  75. Hi maribel, if you mean a Saudi bank account, you can open an account at any of these 5 banks: Bank Al Bilad, Alinma Bank, Al Rajhi Banking, Arab National Bank, National Commercial Bank. Bring your Iqama. If you mean BDO Kabayan account, you can ask if you can open a BDO Kabayan account through any of them.

  76. Hi ms.im here in Dammam saudi Arabia is it possible for me to open an account here? if so please tell me what particular bank would i go..tnx and more power.

  77. Hi Hansie, sorry I missed your question. Sorry you cannot update your BDO Kabayan in Saudi. If you atm card has a Mastercard logo, look for an atm machine that has a Mastercard or Maestro logo. Balance inquiry fee is US$1 and withdrawal fee is US$3.50.

  78. Hi ms. nora, i want to know po if i can update my kabayan savings passbook here in Jeddah, and if its possible, to where i can go for it? And what are the banks where i can withdraw money from my Kabayan Atm? Your reply will highly be appreciated, thank you.

  79. Hi ellyn, yes, your family can get your remittance at BDO over the counter even if they don’t have a BDO account. Your family member presents her/his IDs and the reference no. that you will send to them. Sometimes they ask the amount of money you’ve sent.

  80. Hi. I’m here in ksa. My family doesn’t have a bank account in pinas. If cash pick up at bdo in pinas, what are the requirements to get the remittance? can they get remittance via bdo cash pickup even if they don’t have an account?

  81. Hello, Can I open a BDO savings account here in Riyadh? According to a BDO customer service that I spoke with I can open an account in Batha. They have a representative there. But where is it exactly? Do you have an experience with it? My debit from the Philippines will be expired this december so I cannot renew it because they want a personal appearance. Thanks

  82. Hi leigh, it should already be in your account. Check again tomorrow, Monday. If your money is not yet there, ask your family to call BDO or go to your branch with your account no., your atm card or passbook and IDs and marriage or birth cert and ask.

  83. hi..good eve mam.i have some concern, regarding bdo bank, how many days before my money can be received in the Phils? i’m worried i sent money from zamil to bdo account. in their status, it was credited to said acct, but when i had it checked, it’s not in my account.it’s been 5 days since i remitted.

  84. Hi Nora,

I remit yesterday at enjaz and would like to know if how many days shall my remittance will be credited to my bdo account. Thanks in advance

  85. Hi Albert, Bank Al Bilad and Arab National Bank are good banks, as these banks are remittance partners of BDO and PNB. I checked their websites, and they’re easy to navigate. You can explore them too.
I have read in one Pinoy expat forum 2 banks they recommend for online remittance from KSA to Phils: Bank Al Bilad and Riyadh Bank (partner of Metrobank and Allied Bank). They said the remittance charge is 16 SRs.

  86. Hi Ms. Nora, I’m also working here at KSA. Hindi pa po ako nakapag-register for a bank account atm for my salary. Pero as soon as ok na yung iqama ko I’m planning to register for bank account for my salary.

    thank you po

  87. Hi Ms. Nora Im working here in KSA. My monthly salary will deposit in SABB Bank. I got now my debit card. May I ask you what is the easiest way to remit my money going to my account in Philippines with my BDO Kabayan saving? DO I need to open new account like Alrajhi bank, arab national bank or bank al bilad? And thru this banks can I transfer my money to the philippines via online banking? SO that I dont need to fall in line and waiting long hours to finish the transaction.

  88. Hi Allen, basta matino o accredited ang pinagpapadalhan mo at correct account name and no., pumapasok ang remittance mo. Write your concern here: https://www.bdo.com.ph/contact-us or call BDO 800-863-0011 . I also answered your question in the other post.
