Here are the top 27 savings banks or thrift banks in the Philippines, based on number

of offices or full-service branches, as reported to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) or Central Bank of the Philippines. Included are their telephone numbers and number of offices.

Savings banks cater to individuals or small businesses and organizations. They have lower deposit requirements, maintaining balances and lower fees, compared to commercial or universal banks.

While commercial banks provide big business, construction and development loans, savings banks offer primarily personal loans, housing loans and small business loans.
