  5. Hi, good day, may I ask if my pag-ibig membership is still active? I’m ofw. How do I know if I’m eligible to apply for a housing loan?

  6. Hhi Richard, have you registered online to get your Pag-ibig MID no.? If not yet, register at pagibigfund.gov.ph to get your Pag-ibig MID no. Then you can pay Pag-ibig through Skyfreight, CitiExpress, Kapamilya, Iremit, Ventaja, PNB or Metrobank partners. You can check here your payments: pag-ibig OFW payment inquiry
About housing loan: If you’ve already paid some contributions, you’re qualified to apply. The requirement is 24 contributions, but you can pay in lump sum to complete the 24-contribution requirement. Your contribution will also increase if you apply for a higher loan amount.

  7. hi good day! may I ask if you have forwarded the house title of ednalyn masongsong to tarlac from calamba laguna

  8. Good day, I’m an OFW and when I filed last march 2014 I was told there’s an error in my name. Can I change it online? I already have an OPA file but our office advised us to merge our overseas and local records, so all of us seamen were asked to file as local. I paid OPA by myself for about 3 years. Can I apply for a cash loan? Thank you and Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to all

  9. Hi Joseph, you can change your name and other data items online. Here are the steps: http://pag-ibigphilippines.blogspot.com/2013/09/pag-ibig-change-of-information-online.html
About your loan, you said you’ve already contributed for more than 3 years, so you’re qualified, but you need to file your loan at the nearest branch, when you take your vacation. There’s an online loan filing service but it’s only for local members. You can email publicaffairs@pagibigfund.gov.ph for more accurate answers.
By the way, if seamen are now considered by Pag-ibig as local members (just like Philhealth), you can apply for your salary loan online. I’ll have to check first

  10. Hi Ms. Nora, I have work for my company Southern Textile Mills Inc. for more than 10 years (1984-1995) and we have deductions for pag-ibig funds, but we were not issued our ID’s and membership numbers, in my next employment I applied again in your office at atrium bldg. makati. and was issued an ID (#0002 305087 10). my question is #1. will both contributions be consolidated if i will apply for your provident savings program for early retirement? #2 can my contributions be traced if they were deposited in different branches of you office? Thank you very much your time and hoping you could enlighten me with my queries.

  11. Hi June, yes, you can consolidate all your contributions so that you will get back all your savings plus dividends. List your job history so that when you request for a copy of your total accumulated values, you can check if all your contributions are there in your records. If not, file this form at your current branch: Transfer of Member’s Records By the way, we only blog about Pag-ibig, and we’re not affiliated with Pag-ibig.

  12. Why was my pag ibig loan rejected? Isn’t it that if there’s a loan, it’s being deducted from the loan? I wasn’t able to pay oct because I gave birth. oct is the only one I missed. thanks

  13. Hi Angelita, do you mean you’re renewing your short-term loan? Have you paid at least 6 monthly amortizations? Have you paid 5 monthly contributions for the past 6 months? Or is this a new loan application? Have you paid at least 24 contributions?

  14. Good Day poh, i just wanna ask how to check my contributions. Can I go to calamba office and reserve and process to buy a foreclosed house here in cavite?

  15. Hi claire, Pag-ibig records are not yet centralized. Check your contributions at the branch where your employer is remitting your contributions, usually the branch nearest your company location. Yes, you can go to the Calamba branch and ask about buying a foreclosed house. For Cavite properties, you can call 654-1398 or 654-2410. You’re advised to visit the property first before making a reservation. Reservations can be paid at Acquired Asset Management, 2nd Floor, JELP Business Solutions Center, 409 Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.

  16. What is the process if I ask for recomputation of my housing loan from pag-ibig for cash payment of total TCP of the house. I almost paid of 2 yrs from my pag-ibig loan. Will they deduct what I’ve paid from TCP? thanks.

  17. Hi Bernadette, you can go to where you filed your loan application and ask for your outstanding balance. You will see that a big part of your monthly payments over 2 years were applied to interest payments and a little portion for principal payments — this means that your total loan balance is still almost the same as your original loan amount. Look at this loan amortization schedule sample: http://pag-ibigphilippines.blogspot.com/2015/03/loan-amortization-schedule.html In this sample, where the loan amount is 800k, notice that after 2 years of paying a fixed amount, the balance was reduced only a little, with the outstanding balance at 777,159.88
By the way, a small portion of the monthly payment also goes to fire insurance and MRI payments. Try also this online service to check your balance: https://www.pagibigfundservices.com/ Click “Housing Loan Payment Verification”

  18. Hi how will i know my pagibig number, may employer gave it to me but when i update may infom online they did not accept may MID number.

  19. Good day. My mom said she heard an announcement na open na ‘yung Pag-ibig offices on Saturdays. Is it true or same pa rin as last year na on special events lang? We make our payments sa branch along Buendia. Mondays to Fridays lang po ba dun or is it open til Saturday? Thank you!

  20. Hi Ellie, I think Saturday services are pre-announced and are for special programs only like calamity loans and delinquent loans, etc. I called Pag-ibig just now 7244244 but it’s busy. You can try calling. If our accounts are already in order, we can continue making payments at Bayad Center and SM Business Centers.

  21. Hello ms.nora. can I apply for a salary loan or any other cash loan with Pagibig even if i have an existing housing loan? my monthly payment for my housing loan is updated. thanks.

  22. Hi ernest, you’re updated with your housing loan, so yes, you can apply for a salary or short-term loan.

  23. Gud day po. My husband passed away, but we were not married. I was told I can get something from pag ibig. But when I applied for cenomar, I found out that my husband was married to another woman. He hid this matter from me and our child. And I don’t know the girl. And he was with me until he died. Will I be able to get the benefit from pag ibig? Thanks

  24. Hi Magnolia, it’s sad to know that. Sorry you cannot be a beneficiary because you don’t have a marriage certificate to show. But your child is a legal beneficiary because you can present his/her birth certificate. The problem is Pag-ibig will require you to get a waiver from the legal wife. Find the waiver form here: https://sites.google.com/site/informationphilippines/pag-ibig-fund-hdmf/application-for-provident-benefits-claim Or the legal wife and your child can file their claim together, and Pag-ibig will divide the benefit between the two.

  25. Hi, does anyone know which NCR PAGIBIG branches accepts housing loan applications? I went to AURA but they don’t accept housing loan applications there yet. I was hoping the MAKATI (Buendia) or PASAY branch accepts housing loan applications because they are the nearest to my area. Thanks.

  26. Hi Leslie, yes, if the property you’re interested in is in Makati, you can go to the Buendia branch. Pag-ibig advises members to submit applications at the branch with jurisdiction over the location of the property being purchased. You can also go to JELP Bldg, 409 Addition Hills, along Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong, near Dumlao gymn, as this is where the main Pag-ibig Housing department holds office.

  27. tanong lang po, about sa MPL ko.. bago na po kasi ang systema ngayon, wala po ako masyadong idea kung pareho pa din ng dati.. nakapagpasa ako last april 28, then nakuha ko din the same day ang atm.. then, sabi nila is wait for 24 hours ng text para sabihin sakin kung meron na pong laman.. almost 48 hours na po nakalipas is wala pa din pong text sakin.. maghintay pa din po ba ako ng 3 weeks katulad ng dati bago dumating ang MPL ko?

  30. Hello Mrs Nora, how can I process the transfer of my previous loan under my previous employer (The 1st Eagle Guard Security Services, Inc) to my current employer? thanks and best regards

  31. Hi Nicolas, if you still have your SSS loan voucher, submit that to your current employer, and request for monthly deduction to pay your loan. Tell them how many months you have paid under your previous employer. Some new employers require you to get an updated loan statement from SSS. If so, then go to SSS and request for loan statement. You can also register at sss.gov.ph so you can access your loan balance. Register at non-peak hours like midnight. Use your personal email address so you can access your SSS even if you move to a new employer.
