Yes, you can enroll in BDO Online Banking while abroad, if you have an active BDO savings or current/checking account, or credit card.
What account type can I enroll in BDO online banking?
. Peso savings account with atm card
. US dollar savings account with atm card
. Peso current account or checking account with atm card
. BDO credit card (principal card)
For other account types, like these below, you can enroll them ONLY after your BDO online banking has been approved and validated. You will link these accounts to your validated online banking account.
. BDO cash card
. Peso time deposit
. US dollar time deposit
. Trust account
. BDO housing loan
. BDO auto loan
. BDO personal loan
What is different between enrolling while in the Philippines and enrolling while abroad?
If you are enrolling while abroad,
. choose the option: Outside the Philippines
. include your country code and area code when you write your mobile phone number
(Example: 639171234567, 639054338888)
. write the city and country where you are
. preferred time to be called by a BDO officer
. You register your Philippine mobile phone no. that has international roaming service,
or a foreign-registered mobile phone that can receive texts from the Philippines.
Why is an active mobile phone no. with international roaming important?
Every time you login, transfer money, pay bills or reload your cash card, you will be required to enter your one-time-password (OTP).
Your OTP will be texted by BDO to your mobile phone.
What are the steps in enrolling in BDO online banking?
1. Go to bdo.com.ph
2. Find “e-banking” or “online banking” and “Enroll now”
3. Click “Enroll now”
4. You will see “Electronic Banking Terms and Conditions of Use”
5. Check “I have read, fully understood and agreed with the Terms and Conditions”
6. Click “Submit”
7. Fill up the Online Banking Enrollment form
8. Review what you have written and make sure everything is correct
9. Click “Submit”
10. Wait for a BDO officer to call you through your mobile phone within 5 business days.
If 5 business days have passed, and you have not yet been called, just continue to wait. Make sure that you always have your phone with you, specially during the times you wrote as your convenient times to be called. There might just be a long list of enrollees to be called.
11. Wait for an email from BDO saying that your BDO online banking enrollment is already validated.

What is a Challenge question?
It is a personal question used by BDO to verify your identity.
It’s to make sure you’re really the one using your online banking account.
You will chose some personal questions from a list showed to you,
then you will write your answer to each question.
Remember your answers, so you can write the correct answer whenever BDO asks you a Challenge question.
Sample Challenge questions are:
What is your favorite PBA team?
What is your car’s plate no.?
When is your eldest sibling’s birthday?
While abroad, after you login, is this image below the one that appears? Do you see the Challenge Question option?
How Do I Enroll in BDO Mobile Banking?
Once your BDO online banking is already active, download the BDO Mobile App.
For iOS phones and tablets (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), download from the Apple App Store.
For Android smartphones, download from the Google Play Store.
Make sure that the name under the App is BDO Unibank, Inc.
After the BDO Mobile App is installed, you can login.
Use the same User Name and Password that you use in your BDO Online Banking.
