Pag-ibig Retirement in the Philippines — Process Your Claims Quicker

February 21, 2010 · Filed Under Career/Work, Pag-ibig

If you’re nearing retirement and you’ve had more than one employer, check as soon as you can if all the records of your contributions since your started contributing to Pag-ibig are already in one branch of Pag-ibig.

Pag-ibig does not consolidate the records of members whose employers are located in different Pag-ibig jurisdictions; it expects its members to consolidate their records.

It takes months to consolidate, so start now.

My husband, who had two employers and who also continued paying as a voluntary member while working abroad, had to track his contributions and consolidate them in one branch before he was allowed to submit his retirement claims.

The dollar-denominated Pag-ibig Overseas Program, however, is really separate. You make your claims separately at the Gil Puyat, Makati branch.

By the way, my husband has paid more than 240 monthly contributions, so he was to able to file a claim. But he’s still waiting because of the consolidation process.

Update as of March 2011:

My husband’s claim, which was processed over a span of several months in 2009, was rejected because Pag-ibig counted only 231 contributions. Pag-ibig advised my husband to pay nine monthly contributions, either monthly, quarterly, or at one time, but has to wait for 9 months before he can file his claim again.  We didn’t yet refile because we decided the money can earn more with Pag-ibig than with a time deposit. We can use it for my daughter’s tuition fees in her higher years in college.

At present I am not working anymore and I am waiting for my SSS pension. Can I get my PAGIBIG CONTRIBUTION.Where can I get the application form and where to lodge.

  2. Nors on August 12th, 2010 2:23 pm

Hi, Reynaldo, the last time we were at Pag-ibig, people there said that we can only claim our benefits at age 60. But if you’ve contributed at least 240 monthly contributions (that’s 20 years), and you’re no longer working, puede mo nang kunin. Meron ding pag-claim sa 15th year at 20th year — I’ll write about this later. File at the Pag-ibig branch where your last firm (or the firm where you worked longest) is paying its accounts. To make sure all your contributions are complete, request for a summary of your contributions and check. All branches give out the Application for Provident Benefits (APB) Claim.

good afternoon pls send my summary of contribution

  4. Nors on August 30th, 2010 7:35 pm

You have to go to the branch where your company is submitting payments.

good morning!

  6. Nors on September 5th, 2010 9:14 pm

696-6054, or 696-6034 street address: Antipolo Service Office Emraud Square Plaza Circumferencial Road, Antipolo City.

good day. can i refund my father’s contributions for him? he’s 61 yrs old and could no longer do much travel….

  9. Nors on September 26th, 2010 5:46 pm

  10. Jenny on October 15th, 2010 8:13 pm

Hi,im jenny.Gus2 ko po sana ipa consolidate ung pagibig contribution ,paano po ba?Ngpunta ako s present branch ng employer q,sbi wala daw po dun ung name ng dti kong work,(2 to 4 work)except s first work q.Bkit gnun ung first q lng n check nila?Pls reply. Thanks

  11. Nors on October 15th, 2010 10:33 pm

Hi, Jenny, baka magkakaibang branches na-submit yong mga contributions mo. Puntahan mo na lang lahat ng branches. Usually, the firms submit to the branches nearest them.

  12. marilou b. enciso on October 18th, 2010 10:53 am

  13. Nors on October 19th, 2010 7:48 am

Walang online filing. If your employer doesn’t file papers for their employees, ask where they’re paying Pag-ibig premiums so you can go to that branch. If you’re employed, your employer need to sign the MPL application form.

Good DAy po, i just want to ask if pwde po ba akong mag withraw ng ESAV ko? i got 36 months contribution. thanx

  15. Nors on October 27th, 2010 12:37 am

Ang puedeng magwidro na nearest ay tenth year of contributions; 5 years pag Pag-ibig Overseas.

  16. herms on October 29th, 2010 4:53 pm

gud am i just want to ask, how if i want to cancel my housing loan, can i refund some of my contribution? 3 years pa lang po ung contri ko, 25 years to pay ung haus ko.

  17. Nors on October 29th, 2010 11:26 pm

May ibang valid reasons for early withdrawal, such as disability and immigration. Pag i-cancel mo yong housing loan, masasayang lahat ang payments mo. Ang remedyo diyan ibenta mo yong unit mo sa buyer willing to ASSUME the BALANCE. Babayaran ng buyer ang part ng down mo at mga payments mo and then he/she continues the monthly payments.

  18. Renato Llamas on November 2nd, 2010 9:11 pm

I’m a separated employee of Chevron (Phils) & only in my 58 yrs. of age can i claim my pag ibig contribution ?, hindi ko rin po alam kung ilang mos. na ang na ihulog ko.

    Please advice,

    Salamat po,

    ato

  19. Nors on November 2nd, 2010 10:43 pm

Hi Renato, since you’re not yet 60 years old, you can only claim your benefits if you have accumulated 240 monthly contributions, or if you can show proof that you had early retirement from Chevron. We recently went to Pag-ibig Shaw, and there were a lot of claims that got rejected because they failed to reach the 240 count. Other valid reasons for claims are disability and immigration to other countries. You can go to the Pag-ibig branch where Chevron submits its accounts and ask for a copy of your contributions.

  20. rosa g. villegas on November 8th, 2010 3:43 pm

I am retiring next year and I want to know how much will I receive since I have availed/ received payment of the offered aveilment of the 20 years of service. I continue paying monthly contributions.Thanks.

  21. Nors on November 8th, 2010 7:23 pm

Hi, Rosa, you can estimate the total amount, but it’s better if you just go to Pag-ibig and ask for a copy of your total contributions and dividends. You can estimate by multiplying 200 pesos (the usual employee and employer contribution) by the number of months you contributed after you received your 20th-year payment. May dagdag na dividends (5 percent a year), magdagdag ka lang siguro ng 200 pesos a year na dividends (or lower para di ka mag-expect ng mas malaki).

  22. Miguel R. Valdez on November 12th, 2010 11:02 am

By next year, I am about to reach my 2oth year of paying pag-ibig contributions. Is it possible to get it? I’m still actively working and will retire after 10 yrs. However, my plan is put my lump sum from Pag-Ibig and transfer it to a mutual fund. Please provide me some answers. Thank you.

  23. Nors on November 12th, 2010 12:35 pm

Hi Miguel, yes, you can, just make sure you have a total of 240 contributions before filing. My husband’s claim was disapproved, with the disapproval sent after 8 months (we didn’t make any follow-up kasi), because his total contributions reached only 237 months (We plan to file some receipts as apparently some voluntary contributions were not counted.) Request for your copy of contributions at the Pag-ibig branch where your employer is submitting its premiums so you can track your total. The last time I requested a copy in 2009, I just filled out a slip of paper, presented my ID, and after about 15 minutes, I got my copy.

  24. marilou enciso on November 20th, 2010 11:54 pm

gud pm. Ang husband ko po is member og Pagibig for almost 20 years. Can you also send me via e-mail the copy of my husband contributions. Thank you very much.

  25. Efren Ruadil on November 21st, 2010 7:16 am

good am ma’am sir, follow-up ko lang po retirement claim ko. Nag-file kami noong sept.29, hanggang ngayon wala pa ring dumadating.slamat.

  26. Nors on November 21st, 2010 8:31 am

You can email or visit: legazpi@pag-ibigfund.gov.ph Legazpi Pag-ibig branch: Buban Building, Peñaranda Street Extension, Bonot, Legaspi City

  27. Nors on November 21st, 2010 8:36 am

Hi, Efren, matagal talaga silang mag-process. Malapit ka lang naman (based on your IP address, nasa Makati ka), i-follow-up mo personally kasi baka meron palang kelangan pa na paper or record. Sa case ng husband ko, it took 8 months for them to mail a reply, at rejected pa, kasi kulang ang number of months, merong hindi naisama na contributions na naibayad sa ibang branch of Pag-ibig.

  28. michelle on December 16th, 2010 3:18 pm

Hi. just want to check on the 2oth year of being a member, will i be getting something from pag-ibig? Thanks.

  29. Nors on December 16th, 2010 4:55 pm

Hi, Michelle, yes, as long as you did not miss any payment. Your total number of monthly contributions should be at least 240. 12 months x 20 years = 240

  30. jose zaldy M. gregorio on December 28th, 2010 9:18 am

pwdi bng malaman ang retirement benefits ko?

  31. Nors on December 29th, 2010 8:32 am

  32. JAIME S. SINCIOCO on January 11th, 2011 12:32 pm

I’ll be 60 years old on July 18, 2011 and planning to retire on July 31, 2011.

    Thank you

    Jaime S. Sincioco
    PHIVOLCS
    PAGIBIG MID NO. 1070-0237-2655

  33. Nors on January 11th, 2011 6:58 pm

Hi, Mr. Sincioco, your plan to use all your Pag-ibig benefits to pay part of your Pag-ibig housing loan is admirable. That’s a sensible financial decision especially these days when money is spent quickly. Pero kung Phivolcs lang, I hope all your contributions were posted.
About naman sa Pag-ibig housing loan, I suggest na itaon ninyo ang pagbayad using the money from the TAV cheque sa date ng monthly payment ninyo sa housing loan para maibawas yong TAV money sa PRINCIPAL ng loan at hindi sa INTEREST. It’s a good thing to ask your housing loan balance as of July 2011, and the resulting balance after the TAV money has been paid.
Thanks, Mr. Sincioco, and it would be highly appreciated if you share again your experiences here in the future, so others can learn from your experience. Take care and happy 2011!

  34. Estela on January 17th, 2011 3:30 pm

Hi sir, my husband wanted to know how he could claim his contributions. He’s been working with pagcor for more than 20 years and has not retire from work. Would it be possible for him to claim his contributions? He’s going 60 by april, 2011.

Would appreciate your response. Thank you.

  35. Nors on January 17th, 2011 4:30 pm

Hi, Estela, yes, your husband can file a claim after april 2011. Sabi sa Pag-ibig website, puede na mag-claim at the age of 60. Get the Provident Benefits Claim Form from Pag-ibig. This is a copy of the form https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0BxgatWS7kMGoZTZlYmMyYjMtMWNkNC00ZGVmLTk0ZmEtMjcyMTA0OTBhY2M0&hl=en&authkey=CJHw56EB Para without hassles ang claiming ninyo, get a copy of your total contributions from the Pag-ibig branch where Pagcor is submitting its payments this Jan or Feb, para ma-check ninyo kung merong missed payments (yong di na-record, sayang din). Kindly share your experiences here in the near future if you have time.

  36. Sonia on January 19th, 2011 4:39 pm

Good afternoon sir/madam nakapag avail po ako ng housing loan at i think i was able to pay 19 months only when i realized that the house that i got was very far from my work until it was finally foreclose. What shall i do to clear my name? Will this affect my retirement benefits? Thank you and Godbless.

  37. Nors on January 19th, 2011 6:17 pm

Sana kung months or few years pa lang, puede nating i-compute kung worth i-save yong house and then find a buyer para makuha mo yong retirement benefits mo. From my husband’s experience, Pag-ibig checks if you took out a housing loan before they process your retirement claim. Dito sa form ng claim, Pag-ibig Fund Provident Benefits Claim Form, may spaces for checking whether the claimant has a housing loan. Ganon nga, ibabawas sa benefits yong housing loan.
I don’t know lang kung may process ang Pag-ibig na i-voluntary surrender mo yong house, i-waive mo yong rights mo sa house (so that they’ll no longer go through the legal process of foreclosure), para makuha mo ang benefits mo. I suggest you go na lang to Pag-ibig at mag-inquire if you can surrender your house para makuha mo yong benefits.

  38. Lorna Hayag on January 20th, 2011 3:07 pm

    Good Afternoon…

year 2003 Nagka roon ng retrenchment sa company ng asawa ko (presently managing little store).. now hes planning to proceed with his immigration papers…. wanted to know where and how to start processing his claims… maybe meron din double contributions kasi nag double job ang mister ko… hes been working since hes 19…. now hes 55… pls advise and help me…

    thank you po….

  39. Nors on January 20th, 2011 5:09 pm

Hi, Lorna, since your husband is not yet 60, he must have 240 monthly contributions before he can file a Provident Benefits Claim. If his contributions were continuous, even during the time in the 1980s that Pag-ibig was made optional, I’d guess he already has 240 premiums. If he worked in different firms, I suggest you go to the Pag-big branch nearest the firm where he worked the longest, and ask for a copy of your TAV (total accumulated values), and then check if all his premiums were credited. If there are missing credits of premiums, perhaps these were filed with another Pag-ibig branch — usually the branch nearest the firm. Apply for consolidation of premiums. You can also visit that branch to check. If all premiums are credited, and he has 240 contributions, then file a claim. Here are copies of the forms: Pag-ibig Fund Provident Benefits Claim Form and Pag-ibig Fund Request for Transfer of Member’s Records and Loan Details.
By the way, does he have a Pag-ibig housing loan? Additional: If the count is less than 240, you can pursue the immigration or retrenchment reasons for claiming.

  40. Lorna Hayag on January 21st, 2011 9:36 am

Thank you very much for the very useful infos….. what i knew is that in his SSS he already reached 300 months / contributions… and per sss he is overpaid with his contributions….

I was separated from my employer last year & i am now 57 yrs old, they issued a certification for my retirement ,certification for my SSS contribution & certification for my pag ibig. Ito lamang daw po ang pwede nilang i issue as a requirement for a separated employee at sila raw po ay sa Makati nagbabayad ng Pag ibig. How can i determine my total number of contribution in Pag ibig san po ba yung Makati branch para maiparating ko po sa kanila itong aking request further pwede ko na po kayang ma claim yung mga naihulog ko sa Pag Ibig since i have my certification for retirement. Please advice.Thank you & best regards,

  44. Nors on January 24th, 2011 11:01 pm

Wish you the best and take care.

  46. Nors on January 25th, 2011 2:42 pm

    1. kung 65 years old na
    2. kung 60 years old na
    3. merong 240 monthly contributions
    4. permanent disability
    5. permanent departure from the Philippines
    6. separation from the service due to health reason
    7. early retirement under the employer’s retirement plan or SSS/GSIS plan
    God bless din…. Take care.

  48. Nors on February 1st, 2011 4:25 pm

I suggest na you go to your Pag-ibig branch so you can request for a copy of your TAV (total accumulated values). this is a copy of the Pag-ibig Fund Provident Benefits Claim Form. Thanks po.

  53. Nors on February 20th, 2011 7:01 pm

Kung gusto mo namang kunin na using the reason na permanent departure from the country, isubmit mo lang ang mga requirements: photocopy of passport, notarized sworn declaration of intention to depart from the Phil permanently,
any of: immigrant visa, or residence visa, or settlement visa. Pero to make sure, maganda rin kung punta ka sa Pag-big branch where your records are kept para maka-request ka for a copy of your contributions at matanong na rin about this.

  54. Nors on February 20th, 2011 7:15 pm

Requirements: Fill out claim form. Your Special Power of Attorney (SPA) as the authorized representative. your Ids and your father’s IDs. Check out this Pag-ibig Provident Claim form:

  58. Nors on February 23rd, 2011 5:03 pm

You can download this Pag-ibig Provident Claim form and print and fill out. Have a special power of attorney (SPA) para kayo na ang maglakad. Bring your father’s IDs and your IDs. If your father worked in different firms, make sure all his contributions are posted. To check, have your father sign an authorization letter authorizing you to process his Pag-ibig papers (kahit handwritten lang), have his ID, your ID, and then go to the Pag-ibig branch nearest the firm where he worked the longest, and request for a copy of his Pag-ibig contributions, and then check if all his contributions were posted.

Hope you can share your experiences here in the near future to help others too. Thanks.

My wife died july 2010 and i need to claim her Provident Benefits but the problem is i’m working abroad (Qatar) my in-laws send me the form so i can claim the Provident Benefit then i fill it up and send it back to the philippines, now pag-ibig told them to get a SPA, but how and how much it will cost me to get that? Please help me. God Bless

  61. Nors on March 1st, 2011 11:27 pm

Hi Michael, you can get your SPA from the Phil embassy in Qatar. Just show your passport and tell them you’re gonna need the SPA to get your wife’s Pag-ibig benefits. I don’t know how much it will cost you now. One comment I’ve read says 100 Qatari Rials but the comment was made way back in 2008. My husband got a SPA from the Phil embassy in KSA in 2002 and he paid I think more than 2k. Just a suggestion — if the money isn’t needed immediately, you can process your wife’s claim yourself when you come home. The benefit wouldn’t get lost — it would even earn additional interest. Here’s the SPA form for Pag-ibig. Here’s also the Surviving Heirs form.

Thank you very much Ms.Nor i really appreciate your comment…..Have a nice day!

Please see the details:

I’m 32 y/o & was a permanent US resident now.

    Thank you po.

  64. Nors on March 4th, 2011 10:03 pm

Hi, Stephanie, yes, you can claim now your Pag-ibig benefits. Requirements are: passport, immigrant or residence visa, this Pag-ibig Fund Provident Benefits Claim Form, and this departure from Phil form. If you’re assigning someone to file for you since you’re not in the Phil., provide an SPA, and a copy of your ID. Here’s the SPA form for claiming benefits.
About the SSS, you can get your retirement benefit only upon retirement, either at age 60 (optional) or 65 (mandatory), or if there’s disability, according to SSS the last time I checked. I’ll make additional response when the SSS website is up. I think currently, SSS is offering a penalty condonation program for delinquent SSS loans for members. I’ll check too and then inform you. The last time I was delinquent, I waited for a penalty condonation program, and was able to have my penalties waived.

hi sir, goodmorning, ask ko lang po .. galing po ako ng pag ibig branch manila last week for claiming the contributions of my father, he died 3 months ago, and my mother died 10yrs ago, ako po sana ang claimant .. at pinakuha na ako ng mga requirements ..at almost done na lahat .. except sa WAIVER OF RIGHTS ng brother kong 22yrs old, tanung ko lang po .. it is form from pag ibig? or we need to make an affidavit? or simply na isulat na lang? at tsaka di kasi kami sure KUNG KAILAN ng member ang father namin sa pag ibig in different employer .. ang lumabas lang kasi sa contribution paper nya sa manila doctors hospital pano po kaya namin malalaman yon?.. thanks po sir more power ..

  66. Nors on March 8th, 2011 2:57 pm

Hi Vincent, wala sa downloadable forms ng Pag-ibig ang waiver of rights, so I think a ‘personalized’ waiver will do. I surfed the Internet for a waiver of right form for you but I can’t find an exact form that matches your need. Anyway, just look at this general affidavit form and then have your brother state that “I am the son of Pag-ibig member __ who died on__ and __ who died on __ and I am the only brother of __ who is filing a claim for my father’s Pag-ibig Provident benefits. I am waiving my rights to the Pag-ibig benefits due to my deceased father __ to my sister __ in order to facilitate the processing of her claims with Pag-ibig.” You can also ask a notary public kung meron silang form ng waiver of rights to Pag-ibig benefits or kung puede silang gumawa at kung magkano. Anyway, ipapa-notarize mo pa rin yong waiver of rights kahit ikaw ang nag-draft or nag-type.
About your father’s total TAV, think back if your father worked in other firms and in locations outside Manila. Pag-ibig started in 1978 so if your father worked in a firm in Makati or Pasig, etc., it’s possible that he has Pag-ibig contributions in Pag-ibig branches in these cities. You can try going to these branches, show your ID, your father’s ID and perhaps his death and your birth cert and ask for a copy of your father’s contributions. Usually, Pag-ibig asks for the names of firms, so try going over your father’s papers and look for the names of his previous employers. If you find other contributions, file for Pag-ibig consolidation of contributions.
Hope you’re find some more contributions and hope you can share again your experiences in the near future to help others in the same situation.

  67. Grace on March 8th, 2011 11:18 pm

    Hi,

Is it true that for someone to avail of the partial refund for the PAGIBIG contributions, he should have a CONTINUOUS contribution of 10 years at least. I started paying for Pagibig from July 1989-Jan 1992, I transferred to a government office and resumed contributing for Pagibig from FEb 1992 – June 1998. Thereafter, I ventured in a small business, thus, my contribution ceased. I started to work again in a call center since Sept 2006 up to present time. Does it mean that I can’t avail of the partial refund since my contribution is not continuous? What are my options? PLease assist. THanks a lot. God bless you and your family..

  68. Nors on March 9th, 2011 7:24 am

Hi, Grace, tama ka, it should be CONTINUOUS, no gaps in the payments. Here’s a copy of the January 2010 Pag-ibig circular that explained it. Members can’t pay retroactively the gaps. One option is applying for a multipurpose loan — here’s the Pag-ibig loan form so you can check the requirements/eligibility. God bless also. Hayaan mo, Grace, there was a time also in the past that my husband really needed to avail of the earlier withdrawal option, but since he couldn’t, he wasn’t able to get the money. Now that he’s older and already eligible to get his money, he’s glad that he didn’t get it before — meron pa pala siyang pera –puede na siyang mag-Boracay….

  74. Sonia B. Abendan on March 21st, 2011 5:01 pm

    Hello po!

I just want to ask if I can claim my pag-ibig fund contributions wayback. I forgot already when I started my contributions but I supposed the co., Petron Corp., has the records. I was permanently employed October 1977, after 6 mos. probationary period i.e, April 1977 to Oct. 1977.

I did not meet the 240 mos. contribution because I voluntary applied on the Manpower Reduction Program (MRP) offered by the company which took effect September 1990 or 1991, I think.

I will be 56 yrs old coming April this year. I don’t know what’s the effect of my age, if there is, or the mo. contributions.

Can you please enlighten me on this matter if there is a chance.

    Hoping for your kind consideration.

    God Bless!

    Sonia

  75. Nors on March 21st, 2011 6:53 pm

Hi Sonia, based sa rules ng Pag-ibig, hindi abot sa 240 mos yong contributions mo, so wait ka na lang until age 60. Pero kung yong MRP ng Petron can be considered a retirement or provident plan, and you can show papers, baka i-consider, kasi meron silang ganito na rule sa eligibility for benefits — “Actual retirement from the SSS, the GSIS or a separate employer provident/retirement plan, provided the member has at least reached age 45.” You can go to the Pag-ibig branch where Petron is filing — you can get a copy of your contributions. Just bring an ID.

  77. Nors on March 23rd, 2011 3:08 pm

Ilang firms nag-work ang father mo?
What years did your father work? Kasi by 1995, 200 a month na ang combined employee/employer contribution. Kung 200 x 64, that would be 12,800, plus dividends pa.

  80. Nors on March 24th, 2011 11:53 am

  81. Nors on March 24th, 2011 12:07 pm

Last January when I went to Pag-ibig, ang requirement for reactivation for Individually Self-Paying na on commission basis ay the ffg: latest ITR or commission voucher for last 3 months, notarized cert of employment and average commission, company ID, cert of remittance for old member (siguro ito yong record ng previous contributions noong employed member ka pa, puedeng kumuha ng kopya sa Pag-ibig mismo) at 2 1×1 ID pics.

  83. Nors on April 4th, 2011 8:42 am

Hi Monette, you need an SPA. click the link to see the SPA form. Pero it’s better if you first go to Pag-ibig and ask for a copy of your uncle’s contributions (Bring an authorization letter and your ID, better pag may ID or any ID document rin yong uncle mo) so you can see if your uncle already has made 240 monthly contributions. Retirement is allowed if: 60 years old or older, permanent departure from the Phil, permanent disability, formal retirement from company, 240 monthly contributions. Good day po.

    Carol

  91. Nors on May 20th, 2011 10:05 am

Pag-ibig form I’ll research nga about this issue.

  93. Nors on May 20th, 2011 12:08 pm

Hi, Imelda, hindi mo na kelangan ang employer certificate, pero as an SOP for some firms, they give the Pag-ibig cert of contributions, so maganda rin may kopya ka, for cross-checking, baka merong hindi na-post sa Pag-ibig. Ito yong Pag-ibig claim form.

Nasa baba ng form ang checklist for requirements. Look at the requirements for MM o R. Basically, two valid IDs with photos lang, plus yong computerized records of your Total Accumulated Values (nakukuha sa Pag-ibig).

    1. Pag-ibig Provident claim form (available sa Pag-ibig, puedeng take a look at this Pag-ibig claim form)
    2. Notarized certificate of early retirement from Nestle Phil
    3. NSO-issued birth certificate
    4. 2 valid IDs

can i still received a dividend from pag ibig well in fact i already my 20 yerars maturiyt last 2006?

  98. Nors on June 5th, 2011 12:58 pm

Hi Maria Lourdes, did you mean you reached your 20th year of paying Pag-ibig contributions in 2006? If that is so, yes, your money in Pag-ibig have been earning dividends. If you’re at least 45 years old and you already have 240 monthly contributions, you can file your claim. But if you want your money to earn more, you can leave it there for a while.

  99. Nors on June 5th, 2011 1:20 pm

Hi Adele, para mas sure yong change of date of birth mo, mag-submit ka ng Change of Member Data using the Pag-ibig form, ganito ang itsura Pag-ibig Change of Member Data. Submit it sa Pag-ibig branch near you or thru your employer, pero better if you can submit it to Pag-ibig for faster processing. Bring also your NSO-issued birth certificate.
By the way, have a copy pala of the member’s data change para meron kang hawak (fill up two copies, sa yo yong isa).

  100. Adela G. Estrada on June 10th, 2011 3:26 pm

Gud pm po ma’am/ sir. nakapagsubmit na po ako ng filled up Member’s data Change at NSO issued Birth crtifcate noong ask ako ng HDMF Transaction Card. But ayway di naman pala kelangan un sa retirement. Another thing po. Di ko nakompleto magbyad ng aking loan. I think dapat 1 yr pa. i hv been teaching for 30 yrs here in Colegio de San Sebastian at naging memeber kmi ng Pag-ibig mula 1995. Thank you!

  101. Nors on June 11th, 2011 2:40 am

Hi Mam Adela, thank you for teaching/guiding children for 30 years. wow. 1995 to 2011, bale 15 to16 yrs. 5 percent interest. mas mataas pa siya kesa maraming time deposits. pero maganda rin kung one time, you request for a copy of your TAV para makita mo yong money mo, at para macheck mo pa kung naremit/nareport ba lahat.
By the way, I suggest na pag may extra money ka na, bayaran mo na lang one-time yong loan mo para di makalimutan.

  102. Adela G. Estrada on June 12th, 2011 1:21 pm

Thank u again and good afternoon.

  103. Nors on June 12th, 2011 2:49 pm

Hi Mam Adela, sa Pag-ibig office, with your ID.
Pero dahil nag-iiba ang policy, after mag-due yong loan mo, at di nabayaran lahat, visit Pag-ibig and ask them kung automatic set-off yong loan.

  104. Adela G. Estrada on June 13th, 2011 10:59 am

Thank You so much for the information. Good Day God Bless!

  105. Menarth on June 24th, 2011 5:42 pm

Hi Nors!!! i resigned just recently, only after 2&1/2 years stint from a makati company. pero meron na akong accumulated 139 contributions to pag-ibig. (As of june 14, 2011 ang TAV ko is php35,997.97) Meron pa akong balance sa STL ko maybe mga 7-8k na lang. i am 50 years old na. Can i withdraw my contributions? you know, to compensate with everyday living. Ano mga need na papers? I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance. God bless u always!!

  106. Nors on June 24th, 2011 6:58 pm

Hi, Menarth, sad to say, hindi mo pa puedeng kunin ang Provident benefits mo, kasi 240 monthly contributions ang kelangan para makuha ito if not yet 60 years old.

  107. Francisco M. Domingo on June 26th, 2011 11:18 am

  108. Nors on June 26th, 2011 1:57 pm

Hi Francisco, yong Pag-ibig mo ba yong Pag-ibig Overseas Program (POP)? Kasi ito shorter yong term, 5 years to 10 years ang alam ko — nasa passbook mo yong term, kung POP ang sa iyo. Kung yong regular Pag-ibig — Pag-ibig I — for employees, ang sa iyo, puede mo nang kunin if you were able to contribute at least 240 monthly contributions (20 years). Kung hindi, wait until you’re 60 years old. Best regards.

  109. Nors on June 26th, 2011 2:03 pm

By the way, Francisco and Menarth, merong optional withdrawal, pero hindi lahat makukuha, at saka dapat continuous yong contributions (walang missed month), at dapat exact ang timing sa 10th year o 15th year.

  110. Jenny on June 29th, 2011 10:55 pm

  111. Nors on June 30th, 2011 12:35 am

  114. Nors on July 1st, 2011 6:22 pm

Hi Cora, isa kasing reason ng puedeng makuha ang Provident benefits from Pag-ibig kung wala pang 60 years old o walang 240 monthly contributions ay kung nag-retire yong member under his/her company’s early retirement program. From Pag-ibig: one reason for retirement claim — Actual retirement from the SSS, the GSIS or a separate employer provident/retirement plan, provided the member has at least reached age 45.
It’s not the same as cert of employment. Meron ba kayong early retirement program? Nag-retire ba siya rito? Here’s the provident claim form, para makita mo yong list of reasons, sa bandang baba.

  116. Butch on August 10th, 2011 5:44 pm

good day. na-separate ako s company namin august 2008 at 42 y/o pa lang ako that time at meron pa lang akong 156 monthly contributions sa PAG-IBIG. Nakahingi na rin ako sa company namin ng certification na early retirement namin due to company’s total closure under our Employees’ Retirement Benefit Plan. Naka-18 yrs and 2 months ang lenght of service ko. Thanks

  117. Nors on August 10th, 2011 7:18 pm

Hi Butch, ito yong rule: ” Actual retirement from a separate employer provident/retirement plan, provided the member has at least reached age 45.” Ganoon pala ang interpretasyon nila dito. Akala ko naman, yong age diyan sa rule ay hindi yong age at the time of retirement kundi yong age at the time of claim.
Hindi ka rin naman puede sa ibang reasons for retirement, such as 60 years old or 240 monthly contributions (malaki ang kulang).

  118. Butch on August 14th, 2011 9:46 am

good morning ibig sabihin po na kailangan antayin ko muna ang 45 y/o ko bago ko maclaim ang early retirement ko. wala na po ko trabaho ngaun dahil ngsara nga po company namin noong 2008. this august ay mg 45 y/o na ako at eron na rin akong notarized certificate of early retirement galing po sa nagsarang kumpanya namin at 2 valid ID’s. pwede na po ba akong mgfile after my birthday this august? pls help me. god bless and more power…

  119. Nors on August 14th, 2011 10:31 pm

Hi Butch, I’ll try tomorrow during office hours to call and ask their policy on early retirement age. I’m not sure though how they respond to calls, it’s my first time to call Pag-ibig.

  120. Butch on August 15th, 2011 2:27 pm

good day. ngaun pa lang ngpapasalamat n ko sa effort sa katulad kong nanangangapa at nghahanap ng tamang kasagutan. kasi po sa pagkakaalam ko may mga kasama po ako na below age of 45 at that time of closure 2008 at pag reach nila ng age 45 nguang 2011 at na-claim na po nila. so ngtaka lng po ko nang mgsubmit ako ng requirement galing s previous company ko ay na-reject po ito. by the august 17, 1966 po ang birthday so balak ko po ito i-refile siguro after my birthday. tnx po more power and God bless po uli.

  121. Nors on August 15th, 2011 3:53 pm

Hi Butch, malapit nang 4 pm, all thru the afternoon, hindi pini-pinickup ng Pag-ibig yong hotline nila. Subukan kong gamitin yong email/contact page nila.

  122. Butch on August 15th, 2011 5:24 pm

good afternoon uli. sabi sa akin ng nkausap kong babae s counter sa 5th flr. ng PAG-IBIG makukuha ko raw un pag 60 yr/o na ako o kaya madisable daw ako ( na ayokong mangyari di bale na lang he..he) o kaya mgmigrate daw ako (eh wala nga akong pangmigrate eh kaya nga ngcclaim to support my everyday expenses dahil wala n nga ko trabaho) at may sinabi pa na iyon daw ay ayon sa Commission on Audit (COA). mabuti siguro bumalik ako s PAG-IBIG baka may makausap akong ibang officer dun. pacencya ka na kasi talagang kailangan ko ito. salamat uli s walang sawang pagsasagot at pag-uukol ngpanahon para sa akin at sa iba ko pang kasamahan makikinabang dito. MABUHAY KA KAPATID AT SUMAIYO ANG DAKILANG MAYKAPAL.

how to avail ung mga benefits/claims nang nmatay ko pong father na isang government employee na member ng PAG-IBIG,almost a 2-years na po kmi nkapagsubmit ng mga set of requirements pero until now wla pa pong natatanggap ang kanyang mga bebeficiaries?

  124. Nors on August 17th, 2011 4:01 pm

Hi Dusteen, sana nag-follow-up na kayo in person kasi matagal na, baka merong missing document na kelangan pang i-submit. Meron kayong hawak na acknowledgment slip? Punta kayo sa branch where you submitted at mag-follow-up.

  125. Leandro D. Reyes on September 5th, 2011 9:54 am

I reached my age of 46 and I want to get my lump sum amount from Pag-Ibig Fund coz I am a jobless now. The last time I ask them, they want from me certified thru copy of certifications from my previous company but unfortunately they are all closed. I have in my hand certification but not certified thru copy. What shall I do? Thanking you in advance for your accommodation.

  126. Nors on September 5th, 2011 2:28 pm

Hi Leandro, you can get a copy of your contributions from the Pag-ibig branch where your former employers were remitting Pag-ibig contributions. If your record is incomplete, there may be other contributions submitted to other branches. Usually, companies submit to the nearest Pag-ibig branch. Consolidate your records in the branch where you have the most number of contributions. Here’s the Pag-ibig consolidation request form. http://www.pagibigfund.gov.ph/DLForms/provident/FPF400%20REQUEST%20FOR%20TRANSFER%20OF%20MEMBERS%20RECORDS%20102007_F.pdf
You can claim your Provident benefits earlier (between 45 to 60 years old) if the total number of your monthly contributions is 240 (at least 20 years), not less.

  128. Nors on September 6th, 2011 7:51 pm

Hi Rowena, matagal siyang member? You need:
NSO Certified True Copy of Member’s Death Certificate
Notarized Proof of Surviving Legal Heirs
    Funeral Receipt
Two (2) valid ID cards with signature and photo of claimant

  130. Nors on September 9th, 2011 5:24 pm

Hi Cristina, ang retirement amount ay ang total ng lahat ng actual contributions paid, plus total payments made by the gov agency, plus dividends. You can visit (with any ID) the branch where your agency is remitting payments and request for a copy of your total accumulated values (TAV).

  136. Adela G. Estrada on September 16th, 2011 9:44 pm

I retired last June 30, 2011. I’m 60 yrs old. i found out from our school profile na ngsimula lang kmi sumali sa Pag-ibig year 1995 so 1995 -2011 = less than 240 contributions ko. paano po kaya yon?

  137. Nors on September 18th, 2011 8:19 am

  138. Adela G. Estrada on September 19th, 2011 10:23 am

Thank you so much for your reply ma’am, pero may loan pa kasi ako na diko pa tapos bayaran. I ask our school na ituloy pagbayad ng loan ko, then after that bago ko kunin pera ko.

    God Bless,
    adelle

  139. Nors on September 19th, 2011 5:03 pm

Yong sa husband ko, nareject na nga (kasi merong missing na 9 months of premiums, o baka kulang talaga), it took them about 9 months to send the rejection notice. Pero ni minsan kasi hindi kami nagfollow-up.
If you like, while waiting, you can request for a copy of your total accumulated values (TAV) from the branch where your school is remitting Pag-ibig contributions para makita mo ang TAV total at macheck mo kung may kulang.

  140. Beth Rosales on September 19th, 2011 5:51 pm

  143. Nors on September 20th, 2011 1:12 am

  144. Nors on September 20th, 2011 10:00 am

  145. Nors on September 20th, 2011 5:35 pm

I hope you can share later on what this is. Pero iresearch ko rin what this is, if I have time.

  146. Nors on September 20th, 2011 5:47 pm

Hi Joyce, anong claim ba ang gagawin mo? Pag na-scan kasi yong filled out form, tapos iprint, parang nagiging xerox siya. Yong signature mo, parang nakaxerox. Provident claim ba ito? Meron ka bang friend/relative who can call Pag-ibig and ask? I’m not sure if I have time to call and ask. Yong EMS yata is okay naman ang cost.

  147. Beth Rosales on September 20th, 2011 8:34 pm

Hi Adela, thanks.

  151. Nors on September 23rd, 2011 4:14 pm

Hi Roni, wala namang deadline.

  164. Nors on October 11th, 2011 9:04 am

Hi Chiel, based sa RA 9679 Letter Q, puede mo raw iwidro yong POP mo at the end of the membership term na pinili mo noon — either 5, 10 or 15.

Bring your ID and your aunt’s ID or papers.

  169. Nors on November 3rd, 2011 12:55 am

Hi Aida, Congrats at natapos mong bayaran ang loan mo. You’re a good payor. That’s an accomplishment.
Hiwalay ang monthly amortization at ang monthly contribution. Kung employee ka, tuluy-tuloy din ang bawas ng contribution mo, so meron ka pang benefits na aasahan upon retirement (45 years old if 240 contributions at kung gusto mo nang kunin and 60 to 65 if less than 240). You can ask from your Pag-ibig branch a copy of your TAV (total accumulated values) or total contributions plus dividends.

  170. Philbert Binga-an on November 3rd, 2011 11:42 am

Good day!may makuha bang benefits or any amount pag ang isang pag-ibig member who contributed 10-11years?

  171. Nors on November 3rd, 2011 2:42 pm

Ang exception lang is if you’re 45 and you had received your early retirement benefit from your company. Permanent departure from the Philippines and disability are the other valid reasons.

  172. Nors on November 3rd, 2011 2:48 pm

Hi Medel, kung 15 years x 12 monthly contributions, that’s 180 monthly contributions. If you like, ituloy mo ang hulog mo para after 5 years, meron ka nang 240 at makuha mo na.

  173. Philbert Binga-an on November 3rd, 2011 5:52 pm

Hi Olivia, ang alam ko, kung nakuha na niya yong retirement benefit niya in full, hindi na siya member, so wala nang benefit. Last 2009, merong naidagdag na benefit sa Pag-ibig — yong death benefit — not sure kung 6k or depende sa amount of total contributions. You can call Pag-ibig hotline para sure 724-4244

Meron kami isang secretary 60 years old, working for us for 12 years na at mag-reretiro this December, kumpleto naman to my knowledge yung monthly contributions niya. Kailangan pa ba namin as employer na magbigay ng Certificate of Retirement sa kanya for claiming of SSS and Pag-Ibig? Salamat po.

  177. Nors on November 8th, 2011 4:03 pm

Hi Helen, based sa retirement claim form at sa checklist dito https://sites.google.com/site/philippinesgovph/SSS yong employer dapat i-accomplish yong portion na Certification of Separation from Employer na andon sa claim form. Kung hindi ma-fill-out yon, gagawa ang employer ng Certification of Separation from company.

I have just retired last year. Is there a certain telephone no where in I can call to verify my contributions?

    Thank you.

    hello miss nors

I was separated from my employer july 15, 1998 since then di na ako nakapagwork as i am a full time housewife. I have more or less 50 pag-ibig contributions, I want to know if i can claim it now, i’m turning 50 this coming 2012.
Thank you so much and God be with you always.

  180. Nors on November 9th, 2011 3:43 pm

Hi Ramon, Pag-ibig hotline is 724-4244
But it’s better if you call the branch where your contributions were filed. Hindi centralized ang Pag-ibig. and better still if you go in person to your branch with your ID.

  181. Nors on November 9th, 2011 4:01 pm

Hi Noeme, thanks for your good wishes. Sori pero based sa rules ng Pag-big, makukuha mo lang ang benefit mo when you turn 60. Ang exceptions lang: you have at least 240 monthly contributions, or merong formal early retirement from company, or merong disability, or immigration. if you like to take a look at the claim form and rules, ito: https://sites.google.com/site/philippinesgovph/Pag-ibig Look for Application for Retirement benefits

hi, my father i think served the government for more than 20yrs. currently, he is an elected city councilor. but, the government temporarily cut his salary because he was confined in the hospital for more than 6months, and opted for kidney transplantation. we are financially exhausted. can we claim something from gsis, pag-igbig or any other insurance company? pls educate us. thanks. God bless.

  183. Nors on November 12th, 2011 4:52 am

Hi Rexter, ask your father if he is or had been a member of GSIS, SSS or Pag-ibig, Philhealth, or does he have a private insurance. Ang retirement benefits ng GSIS, SSS or Pag-ibig are usually nakukuha at age 60 or more, or kung merong permanent disability.

  188. Nors on November 18th, 2011 4:25 am

Itong article about it: http://www.workingpinoy.com/2011/10/pag-ibig-fund-how-to-claim-death-benefits/

  189. Nors on November 18th, 2011 4:43 am

Kung 5 years, after 5 years mo pa makuha. Ito yong rule: Members can withdraw their savings upon maturity, separation from work due to health reasons, total disability or insanity and death.

  191. Nors on December 13th, 2011 3:17 am

I-list mo ang mga companies where he worked, and then visit the Pag-ibig branches nearest these firms and ask for copies of contributions. Then accomplish a Transfer of Member’s Records form https://sites.google.com/site/informationphilippines/pag-ibig-fund-hdmf/transfer-of-member-s-records Total Provident benefits = total contributions + dividends.

  196. Nors on December 22nd, 2011 5:09 pm

Request lang kayo ng notarized early retirement certification from the company. For the other requirements, tingnan nio itong claim form dito: Puedeng View or Download

  199. Donna on January 15th, 2012 5:43 pm

    Good afternoon..
Ask lang po regarding my father’s case. He is 53 y/o and he is planning to file he’s provident benefits claim. However he didn’t reach 240 monthly contributions, he just had 168 months. And his previous employer fail to give him a certificate of retirement before the company closed last 1997. How it will be process now his provident benefits?

Thank you for helping.. God Bless..

  200. Nors on January 15th, 2012 9:06 pm

Hi Donna, kapag less than 240 monthly contributions, your father needs to wait until he’s 60 years old. The other valid reasons for filing are permanent disability as certified by a doctor, migration to another country, and retirement from his company’s retirement program. Ito yong claim form para makita mo yong requirements: https://sites.google.com/site/informationphilippines/pag-ibig-fund-hdmf/application-for-provident-benefits-claim Para sure, you can also call Pag-ibig call center 724-4244 God bless too.

  201. Myrna on January 18th, 2012 11:30 am

Hi. I applied for Early Retirement after I turned 60 last year. However, per Pag-ibig personnel, I have gaps in my Ee/Er share and Double Periods covered. I already have certification from my employer regarding the contribution for some of the gaps. My question is, is it possible for the “double period covered” payments to cover the gaps?

    Thank you.

  202. Nors on January 18th, 2012 3:19 pm

Hi Myrna, I’m puzzled why the gaps are relevant sa pag-claim ng benefit mo eh 60 years old plus ka na. Ibig mong sabihin ayaw nilang i-process ang claim mo dahil merong gaps? Kasi sa list ng reason of claiming, isang valid reason ang “upon reaching the age of 60,” wala namang sinasabi about gaps. Sa akin lang, kahit naman na-credit sa the same month ang ibang premiums, masasali pa rin naman siya sa overall total, so hindi naman nawala. Sori ha at hindi ko ma-gets masyado.

hi,pls appraise me of the following queries.; I retired from landbank in april 2005.I went to pag ibig office in cabanatuan city but i was informed that my claimed will be processed when i reached 60 years old.last dec 28 we went to pag ibig malolos office but i was shocked to know that a check was issued in my name sometime in april 2005 amounting to 29thousand so they only given me the balance of 8thousand.pls clarify me who received the check in april 2005.they told me it was issued in pampanga branch.but i dont remember getting the check in 2005

  204. Nors on January 27th, 2012 7:18 pm

Loan check siguro yong na-release in April 2005? Kaya mero pang balance? Dineduct ba yong 29k plus interests from your total at nagka-balance ng 8k? O kaya yong 29k check ay sa program nila na partial withdrawal at the 10th or 15th year? I suggest check your personal papers baka meron kang maalala at makita, at kung wala, punta ka sa Pag-ibig Pampanga and ask.

  205. Donavilla Lamson on January 27th, 2012 8:22 pm

I don’t signed any release and quit claim waiver, but i received the 8k check in the receipt logbook at pag ibig cabanatuan, there was no documents or records regarding the first release of check worth 29k. OK I’ll go check to pag ibig pampanga.Thank you very much!

Hi Dorie, ito yong SPA claim form and this is the Pag-ibig Provident claim form Click mo lang yong Download. Docs needed: SPA, Provident claim form, 2 valid photo IDs of father, your valid IDs, birth certificate from NSO. Baka meron pang additional na ire-require, depende. If your father worked with several firms, check mo yong print out of contributions kung complete. Baka lang merong contributions na na-file with other Pag-ibig branches.

Hello po! My father turned 65 years old and he’s still working po. Can he already claim his Pag-ibig retirement benefits? And what would be the effect since he’s still connected with his company? He’s been working in one company in his entire life. Your immediate response will be hightly appreciated. Salamat po!

  213. Nors on February 9th, 2012 7:13 am

So I’m not sure.

  214. bing on February 9th, 2012 11:43 pm

Hi ask ko lng po kse nag offer ang company ng early retirement in one of the session namin may na discuss po na pwede namin na makuha yun contribution namin sa pag ibig if ever ano po ba ang effect nito? more than 20 years na po ako naghuhulog same company. another question if ever pwede ko po ba hulugan yun mga months na hindi ko nahulugan right after ko mawalan ng work last sept 2011? i mean mag voluntary na lng po para tuloy tuloy and also pwede pa rin po ba ang mag avail ng multi purpose loan w/ my current status as voluntary member?

    Thanks,
    Bing

  215. Nors on February 10th, 2012 6:42 am

Hi Bing, yes puede mong makuha ang Pag-ibig benefits mo if you’re at least 45 and if you already have at least 240 monthly contributions. Yes, you can continue as a voluntary member, punta ka lang sa Pag-ibig branch mo with your IDs and money. I’m not sure now if they are still allowed to post retroactively, try paying 4th qtr 2011 and 1st qtr 2012 kung papayag sila. 200 per month pa rin yata ang minimum, but you can pay higher. Yes, you can take an MPL after your voluntary contributions are posted. Pero make sure to pay it back para meron ka pa ring savings.

  222. Nors on March 12th, 2012 11:04 pm

Punta ka doon with your ID and marriage certificate and husband’s ID at humingi ka ng copy of contributions para makita mo kung meron nga siyang contributions.

  223. Onil on March 13th, 2012 12:24 pm

    A blessed day to you!

I have colleague who already retired some three years ago but she has been given the opportunity to continue working. She is already enjoying her SSS pension. But she requested continue reporting her contribution to Pag-ibig as she has a pending application for housing loan. Is this ok with Pag-ibig to continue membership under employed category even member has retired with SSS already? Additionally she is not withheld with withholding tax anymore. Please advise what is proper for this case. Thank you very much.

  224. Nors on March 13th, 2012 9:02 pm

Hi Onil, sa continued Pag-ibig membership while already retired under SSS, okay lang naman na ituloy ang Pag-ibig membership kasi hiwalay naman ang SSS at Pag-ibig. Yong work ba niya ngayon is with an employer? Kasi some of the housing loan requirements are certificate of employment, latest 1-month payslip, and certificate of tax withheld. Ano na nga pala ang age niya? Kasi sa Pag-ibig housing loan, maximum age is 65, and age at loan maturity should not be more than 70.

  225. Onil on March 14th, 2012 2:13 pm

Hello Po, Onil here again. That colleague of mine is already 63 and her employer is Pag-ibig registered.

    Thank you very much.

  226. Nors on March 14th, 2012 6:37 pm

Hi Onil, thanks for responding. Sana makapag-comment ka uli rito later on to share kung na-approve yong loan application niya. Sa case niya kasi, if approved, ay meron na lang siyang 6 or 6.9 years to pay the loan before she turns 70.

  232. Nors on April 14th, 2012 12:58 am

Hi Rodulfo, saan nag-work ang father mo? Magpasulat ka ng authorization letter sa father mo, something like “I authorize my son Rodulfo Paladias to inquire about my Pag-ibig records and to process my claim.” with signature niya. Puede ring isulat na doon ang name of company, years worked, address ng company, kahit di complete, para makatulong sa paghanap ng records. Then go to the Pag-ibig branch with your ID and father’s ID and ask for a copy of your father’s contribution.

  234. Nors on April 22nd, 2012 6:06 pm

Hi Mario, sori, kahit nagsara na, hindi pa rin puedeng kunin ang Pag-ibig contributions kung hindi ka pa 45 years old or older, at kung hindi ka nakaipon ng 240 contributions. Kung 45 ka na pero walang 240, you wait until you’re 60 to get your savings and dividends. Best regards

  236. Nors on May 4th, 2012 11:07 am

  237. Trix on May 8th, 2012 8:50 pm

  238. Nors on May 12th, 2012 1:47 pm

Anyway, I hope nakuha nio na. Iba-iba ang processing time.

  239. MICHAEL LICUP on May 13th, 2012 12:56 am

  240. Nors on May 13th, 2012 8:22 am

Hi Michael, optional withdrawal ba ito? Inisip ko pa, sana in-spell out mo na. Ang rule nila for this is dapat continuous 15-year contribution; kahit one month lang daw yong kulang or gap ay hindi raw puede. Computation: Total withdrawal amount = total of 180 monthly contributions plus credited dividends. You can choose to withdraw a lower amount; the rest would be withdrawable upon retirement.

  241. Albert on May 14th, 2012 12:06 pm

Good day po. I’m planning to Loan a house through PAG-IBIG, I’d like to know if sariling pera ko po ba ang gagamitin kung pambayad sa downpayment or kung merong feature ang PAG-IBIG na sila ang magbabayad sa Downpayment ng House Loan ko. Thank you.

  242. Nors on May 14th, 2012 12:47 pm

Hi Albert, sarili mong pera ang downpayment. Yan ang tinatawag na Equity mo. Hindi nagpapahiram ng Pag-ibig ng equal to 100% of the value of the property. Merong mga Pag-ibig-accredited developers na yong equity mo or downpayment ay payable in one year without interest. Best regards
