wala na pala silang pera eh bakit may pangbayad pa sila ng rent sa SM, ang mahal ata ng upa dun tapos di nila ibibigay ng buo ang pera natin gayun nag mature na, di yan tama! kelangan lumaban tayo.

Dear DANVIL planholders:
things that I want to share now about Danvil is not good. I just went to their office today at Sm Fairview(pplic) to apply for the maturity benefit of our plan. We were shocked because the staff told us that we can only get half of the amount of our plan and the other half will be paid to us in installment for 5 years! The staff told us that Danvil is under conservatorship now. This is not fair. I will call the insurance commission about this and hope that they can help us planholders about this matter.

Hi Reynaldo, disabled na yata yong feature na yon, baka wala nang mag-asikaso. kasi may nag-comment sa ibang Danvil post dito na hindi rin siya maka-log-in. I suggest tumawag ka sa Danvil at tanungin mo kung ano na ang status ng iyong plan.

Thanks, Jose, for taking the time to share your good experience. Updating others who are still paying their Danvil plans will do a lot in giving them some encouragement. I too have filed my claim two weeks ago, and I expect to get my check in October. We will be thankful again if you visit and share some info when your checks have cleared. My wife and I, expats here in KL, have Future Provider Plans with Family First/Danvil that matured last July 2, 2010. We filed our claims last June 4, 2010 when we paid the remaining balance. (Yup, we were in the Philippines that time.)We were told that the processing was 45 days and about the requirements in authorizing somebody to collect the checks on our behalf.

Anyway, my sister-in-law was able to collect the two checks last Friday, 28 August 2010. She’ll be depositing the checks in our account next week.

I hope this is good news to other plan holders who stuck with their plans with Family First/Danvil.

I will make an update after a week or two when the checks have cleared.

Thank you once again for your website as it provided information regarding the status of pre-need plans in the Philippines. It helped us decide not to pre-terminate our plans with Family First.
