Hi Cristine, you need to have a checking account to be able to issue post-dated checks. If you have been sending large amounts of money to your mom's account regularly, maybe BDO approves if you apply for a checking account. BDO is one of the strictest regarding issuance of checking accounts. But if you're denied, you can open a checking account in other banks -- smaller banks. After opening a checking account, you are given a checkbook. You write the name of the real estate firm on the checks, the monthly amortization and the dates when the checks are due. You also sign them. Here are tips about checking accounts.

Hi Ae, you can also use BPI ePrepaid in supermarkets and shops that have the MasterCard logo. Pare sure, before getting goods, ask first the cashier. Yes, you can use the Kabayan debit card to pay goods in shops. Pero laging magtanong muna sa cashier para walang hassle, kasi there are times na offline, or hindi puede yong ETF line nila. Before opening BPI ePrepaid, check first its features. Check also UnionBank EON, and then compare the two. If I have more time, I'll write a post comparing the two.

Hi Ae, sad to say, no, you cannot use your Kabayan to buy online. If you like, you can open this BPI My ePrepaid Mastercard account or a UnionBank EON Cyber account to buy online.

Hi Anna, yes, you need to enroll again so you can get the new activation code, and so you can activate it via BDO ATM. Pero para ma-test mo lang, try logging in. Kung hindi puede, enroll ka na uli.

Hi Che, yes, you are required to show yourself at the branch to reactivate. Email BDO Customer Service at callcenter@bdo.com.ph and ask kung paano magreactivate while you're there in UAE. Ang slogan nila is "We find ways" so there should be a way.
